My final race of 2010, the Bedford Half Marathon, a decision to run the race based on the fact that I managed to talk my good friend Dave Cox into running his first half marathon.
We agreed that the we would run a steady pace aiming for 9 minute miles, no heroics on this run as neither of us had properly trained for the event. The weather was fine, the course a pleasure and to top it all we completed the race in
1 hr 52 mins 20, maybe there was a bit of a hero in both of us!
